Help & support

Short guides for the common tasks. Can't find what you need? Email support@minster.church we reply within one business day.

Set your availability

Open Availability in the menu and add at least one recurring window — for example Sunday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Members can only book inside the windows you define, so no availability means no bookable times.

Each window repeats weekly. You can limit a window to specific interview types, and block out whole days (vacations, stake conference) with a blackout — any existing appointments in a blackout are cancelled and each member is prompted to rebook.

Invite counselors and a secretary

Open Leaders in the menu and send an invitation by email. The invitee clicks the link, signs in, and lands in your unit with the role you chose. Invitations expire after 7 days; you can resend or revoke a pending one from the same page.

Counselors see and manage their own appointments. A scheduling secretary sees the whole unit’s schedule and can book on behalf of members.

What the member sees

Members open your unit’s booking link, pick an interview type, choose a time, and enter their name and phone (or email). No account or app is needed.

They get a confirmation with a private manage link for rescheduling or cancelling, plus reminders before the appointment. Text messages never name the interview type — details stay behind the manage link.

Change or cancel an appointment

Members reschedule or cancel from the manage link in their confirmation. Leaders and secretaries can also reschedule or cancel any appointment from the dashboard — the member is notified automatically either way.

Is this sign-in email really from us?

Short answer: if it came from notifications@minster.church and you had just asked to sign in, yes. Emails from Minster are sent from the minster.church domain and are signed so your mail provider can verify they are genuinely ours.

One thing looks odd and is expected: the "Sign in" button points at a supabase.co address, not minster.church. Supabase is the service that handles our sign-ins, so the link goes there first and immediately returns you to www.minster.church. We plan to move that step onto our own domain so the address matches what you expect.

We will never ask for a password — there isn’t one. We will never ask you to reply with your 6-digit code, and no one from our team will ever ask you for it. If someone does, that is not us. The code and the link both expire in one hour and each works only once.

If you did not request a sign-in, ignore the email — nothing changes on your account and the code expires on its own. If you get sign-in emails you never asked for, or anything else looks wrong, forward the message to support@minster.church and we will look into it.

Reference guides

Every menu option in the leader app and which calling can reach it, one guide per presidency. A branch reads the bishopric guide; a district reads the stake guide.
